Residential installation
Garage door installation for Springdale and Northwest Arkansas homes
Clopay doors chosen with you, hung by our own installers, and tested for balance and travel before we pack up.
Chapter 01
Choosing the door before anyone picks up a drill
A good install starts at the curb, looking at the house. We are a Clopay dealer, so the choice runs across the lines we hang every season: Classic™ Wood and Reserve® Wood for homes that want real grain, Canyon Ridge® Carriage House for the swing-out look on a door that still rolls up, and Modern Steel™ or Gallery® Steel for flat, clean fronts. Brick in Springdale and Bentonville takes a carriage door well. A plain stucco or board-and-batten elevation in Rogers or Fayetteville often wants something quieter.
Glass is the next decision. A row of windows in the top section brings daylight into the garage, and the pattern of the lights changes how the whole door reads from the street. Wood or modern is rarely a matter of taste alone. It is a matter of what the rest of the house is already saying, and we would rather talk you out of a door that fights your siding than sell it to you.
Insulation deserves real thought in an Arkansas summer. A garage that shares a wall with the house can soak up afternoon heat and hand it straight to your living room, and an insulated door can help steady that. Clopay publishes an online designer called EZDoor™ that lets you try styles, colors and window layouts before you commit. Settle on a short list there, bring it to the estimate, and we will size it against your actual opening.

How the install goes on the day
Before a door is ordered, the opening gets measured: width, height, headroom above the opening and room beside it for the tracks. Those numbers decide which track layout fits your garage and which door can live in it. Our residential installers, Brett and Aaron, work through this with you so nothing about the day is a surprise. On the morning itself, the old door comes down, the opening is checked, and the new sections go up one at a time, with hinges, rollers and tracks set plumb.
The torsion springs are sized to the door in front of you, not to a general idea of what a double door weighs. An insulated carriage door and a light steel door of the same dimensions pull very differently, and a spring that suits one will leave the other heavy or wild. Cables are seated on the drums, the shaft is leveled, and the spring is wound to the door. This is exactly the work that should never be a weekend project, because a wound spring stores a lot of energy.
Then comes the LiftMaster tie-in, if you are adding or replacing an opener. Before we call it finished, we test the balance by disconnecting the opener and lifting the door by hand to see whether it holds where we leave it. We run it through full travel, check the safety sensors, and confirm the door stops, reverses and locks as it should. We explain the installation process and answer your questions so nothing about the day comes as a surprise.
Chapter 03
After the crew leaves
The finishing touches are the part customers write about. One Springdale homeowner, MCSilverNinja, put it this way in a Google review: “They adjusted the manual lock to make it easier on me to use when needed. They adjusted and corrected the automatic door button that the previous house owners had left hanging.” Nobody asked for the lock to be adjusted. The installers saw it and did it, and that is the standard we try to hold on every job.
A new door also settles. Cables seat, the weatherseal takes its shape against the floor, and a track bolt that was perfect on day one can want a quarter turn in the first season. If something rubs, rattles or drifts after the crew has gone, call (479) 238-2493 and tell us what you are hearing. Small adjustments early are cheaper than a worn part later.
We install across Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Bella Vista and Cave Springs, along with the smaller towns around them. If you have a door you only want repaired, not replaced, the repair crew handles that too. We will tell you honestly which one your door needs.
