LiftMaster openers

LiftMaster garage door openers in Springdale and Northwest Arkansas

Residential and commercial openers installed with care, and repaired when the opener, not the door, is the problem.

Chapter 01

When the opener is the problem, and when it is not

The usual call goes like this: the remote does nothing, the wall button clicks and the door sits still, or the door starts down and reverses before it closes. Each of those can be the opener. Each can also be something else entirely, so we start by finding out which. A door that will not rise might have a broken torsion spring, a frayed cable or a track that has drifted, and an opener asked to lift a door that is no longer balanced will burn itself out trying.

That is why a visit starts with the door. We disconnect the opener and lift the door by hand to see how it carries its own weight. If it is heavy or lopsided, the repair is in the door. If it moves freely, we move on to the opener itself: the travel limits, the safety sensors at the bottom of the tracks that cause so many mysterious reversals, the wall control and the remotes. Replacing an opener when the real fault was a spring would be a costly mistake for you.

Age matters too. Older openers that use a fixed code send the same signal every time, which is the weakness modern units were built to fix. A rolling-code opener changes the code with every use, so a signal someone might capture today will not open your door tomorrow. If your opener predates that, swapping it for a current LiftMaster is as much a security repair as a convenience upgrade.

What we install, at the house and at the loading dock

We install LiftMaster® openers on residential and commercial doors, and we repair the ones already hanging in your garage or warehouse. On a home, that means a unit matched to a single or double sectional door in Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers or Fayetteville. On a commercial building, it means a commercial operator on a sectional or rolling steel door that cycles all day. Either way, the opener can close, open, stop and lock the door, and we set it up with care and attention to detail.

Smart openers are part of the lineup. A smart LiftMaster can connect to your phone and send an alert when the door opens or closes, which is a real comfort if you travel, or if you simply cannot remember whether you shut it after the school run. We do not oversell the app side of it. We install the opener, connect it, and show you how the alerts work before we leave.

On a commercial job, the opener has to fit the way the building works. A shop that runs deliveries before the office opens needs a different setup from a retail space that cycles a door twice a day. Our commercial installers, Nick and Andrew, size the operator to the door and the duty, and they test it through its full travel with you watching.

Chapter 03

Security and setup details worth five minutes

A few small details do more for the safety of your garage than any piece of hardware. The emergency release cord, the red handle that lets you lift the door by hand during a power cut, can be hooked from outside through the gap at the top of some doors. A cord cover closes that gap, and we are glad to fit one while we are there.

Next is the remote. A transmitter clipped to the visor of a parked car is an invitation to anyone who tries the door handle. Take it off the visor, keep it on your keys or use the keypad, and if a remote ever goes missing, tell us so the opener can be reprogrammed. The wall button should be set at a height small children cannot reach.

If you leave the house for a week, a slide lock is a simple extra layer on the inside of the door, as long as you remember to release it before you press the button. We show new customers each of these when we install, so the setup is finished and not merely powered on.
